Stonegarden 1858 Grenache
Wine
Eperosa Stonegarden 1858 Grenache is from one of the oldest vineyards in Australia, dating back to 1858. The site is a short distance east of the township of Springton in the Eden Valley.
All of the Grenache fruit is sourced from the original 1858 bush vine planting. Tiny additions of Mataro and Shiraz complete the blend.
All the fruit is handpicked and hand sorted prior to fermentation. After 15 months of maturation the wine is gently racked by hand and bottled without fining or filtration.
Bright purple, Eperosa Stonegarden 1858 Grenache has lush red fruit flavours, juicy acidity and a savoury tannin frame. Distinctly Grenache. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
